Do I need a base for my garden building?

Yes, a solid and level base is essential for the stability, longevity, and correct assembly of any garden building. A base made from concrete, paving slabs, or a timber frame is recommended. An inadequate base can lead to structural issues and may void the product's warranty.

What is the difference between dip-treated and pressure-treated wood?

Dip-treated timber has been coated in a preservative, offering good protection against rot and fungal decay. It requires annual re-treatment to maintain its protective qualities. Pressure-treated (or tanalised) timber has had preservative forced deep into the wood's grain under high pressure. This provides longer-lasting protection and typically comes with a much longer anti-rot guarantee, often 10-15 years, without the need for annual re-treatment.

Can I get my shed or log cabin installed for me?
